I grew up in Missouri, and lemme tell you I'd never run a long race in Ohio (or anywhere east of the middle of Kansas) in the summer. You managed to stay in the race and pushed until the end. If you had managed to pass Covered Bridge under the cut off you would have finished, it's mostly flat after that.
